School-Based Health Initiatives

Mental Health & Psychosocial Support

  • Youth peer support groups in Ifakara
  • Anti-stigma campaigns: "Halt to Stigma!"
  • Workshops, counseling, and mental health literacy

Community Outreach & Disease Prevention

  • WASH and oral health outreach in Kilombero and Morogoro
  • IPC training for healthcare workers during Marburg, Mpox, and Cholera outbreaks
  • Walkathons, village dialogues, and cultural wellness education

Weekly Radio Health Program

  • Broadcasting mental health, reproductive health, and disease prevention
  • Featuring youth, health professionals, and spiritual leaders

Planetary & Climate Health

  • Climate literacy, eco-anxiety workshops, and youth climate action
  • Tree planting and environmental cleanups
  • Advocacy linking climate change to health outcomes (SDG 3 & 13)

Annual Scientific Symposium

  • "Interconnected Well-being" Symposium held at Udzungwa Mountains National Park
  • Convenes 200+ stakeholders: youth, CSOs, clinicians, policymakers
